How we write, source and correct the information on lenditup.com.
Our purpose
Our pages exist to help you understand loan products and your options before you borrow. Lenditup is not a lender, and nothing on this site is financial, legal or tax advice. For decisions about your own situation, talk to a qualified professional.
Sources
- Statements about the law are taken from the statute, regulation or regulator that issued them, and the source is named beside the statement.
- Statements about how our service works come from our own operations.
- We do not publish rates, approval odds or funding times as facts, because lenders set them.
Independence from compensation
We are paid by lenders and marketplaces (see how we make money). Partners do not write, review or approve our educational content, and they cannot pay to change it.
What we will not publish
- Promises of approval, or claims that a lender will not look at your credit.
- Testimonials or reviews that we cannot show are from real customers.
- Statements implying that Lenditup is a lender or makes credit decisions.
Review and updates
Pages are reviewed before they are published and again when the underlying law, product or service changes. Pages that describe the law show when they were last checked.
Who publishes our guides
Our guides are published under the Lenditup Editorial Team byline. That byline stands for Lenditup (Genovate, LLC) as a company, not for a single named author. Each guide is checked against the sources described in How we verify and shows the date it was last reviewed.
